When a projectile such as an arrow or snowball goes trough the position of where the armorstand would be without marker, it shows it going trough initially but then in case of arrow, bounces back.
1. /summon ArmorStand ~ ~ ~ {Marker:1b}
2. give yourself a bow and arrow and go into survival/adventure mode and shoot the where the stand would be.
It will show the arrow flying trough, but then appears to have landed back at your feet.
