When I am trying to copy a command from my browser into a command block through Ctrl+V, the text is not copied into Minecraft.
When I try to copy text from my Minecraft client through Ctrl+C and paste it into a notepad file, the symbol ’ shows up, and none of the text is copied.
I can copy text in my client and paste it back into my client, but trying to paste it anywhere else on my computer yields only "’".

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]
) here.
Please downgrade to Java 7 and try again. Several issues have shown up in apparently stable versions of Java 8, so it's probably a bad idea to use it just yet.
I'm not so keen on these computer software stuff, but... As I am aware,
Ctrl+A highlights all text in Minecraft
Ctrl+X copies all text in Minecraft, and "deleting" the text, simplifies that it is "cut and paste"
Ctrl+V Pastes all text into Minecraft, apart from invalid characters. Which are ignored.
I found the solution. I had Java SE Development Kit 9 installed, and Minecraft was using that version. The issue is with Java 9 Build 39, so I uninstalled all of my Java 9 versions. Now I have Java 8 Build 25 installed, and copy and paste works fine.
Please downgrade your Java to a stable, non-beta build and try again.
