[MC-75170] Horses disappeared

I play the same world all the time and memorized where the horses spawn. So this time when I restarted my world over, all the horses were gone. All other mobs have soawned. No horses at all.

What do you mean ? Using the same seed in 1.8.1 does not spawn horses like previous versions ?
Because world generation is not exactly the same from one version to another. For example, even if 1.8 had no new biomes, the 3 new types of stones are now influencing most of generated terrain, but with minimal visible differences from the outside.

Ever since I first had horses I've kept them in stables and 'ranches' all over my world and all my tamed horses have stayed there no matter how far I went. With the new update I stabled a tagged, armored, saddled horse and when I left it to work nearby I returned and it had vanished completely.
