[MC-75972] Strange shadows causing lag.

Was not happening the other day. Now it is happening and causing a lot of lag. Only 1 entity in my world.
It is just a quartz box with a basic fill clock inside it.

I put the java version and stuff in the environment part, for some reason it swapped some things around 😛

This happened to me, similar scenario. AMD R5 230 graphics card. Cannot reproduce on a Nvidia Titan X; even on the same world.
Leads me to believe that this is a graphics card issue.

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (i.e. 1.10.2, or 16w42a) of Minecraft?
