Some unicode characters are always bold

Resolution note

This report was closed as "Invalid" because the affected characters are the ones from the assets/minecraft/textures/font/ascii.png file.

The problem that the other unicode characters like "³" are not that big might be MC-2488.

Many unicode characters appear as bold even there would be a way to create them with a normal font size.
This seems to affect only the "ascii.png"

Examples:

• ² (there is already a report about that, but I can't find it; also ³ is not bold)

• ÷

• ≤ and ≥ (well maybe with a normal font size they would look strange)

• √

• Σ

• °

• ∞

• ∩

• ∈

• ∅

• ± (but ∓ isn't like this)
  and probably many more

Some that are also "messed up":

• \u00aa -> ª

• \u00ae -> ®

• \u00bc -> ½

• \u00bd -> ¾

• \u00f8 -> ø
  These are too big. They do not appear bold but you cannot read them

All of these characters have a bold form, but this form is very hard to differentiate from the normal form or you cannot really read it anymore.
I am sorry if this report is invalid because these characters are made like this to differentiate from other characters
