[MC-77429] Tamed horses despawning

2 tamed horses disappeared/despawned the last 2 weeks. They were locked in a barn and there is no way they escaped or they were killed. Vanilla Minecraft server version 1.8.1

@Sonic not actually a dup of MC-23320, where all animals are affected. This bug only affects **tamed horses** which should NOT despawn (according to the wiki).

It is a duplicate, because the underlying bug can cause all passive mobs to despawn, regardless if tamed or not.
