[MC-78069] 16 block render distance makes the server go weird.

I was on Mineplex playing Survival Games, I turned on the 16 chunk render distance. All of a sudden the world was all messed up. I looked in other worlds and servers and found that it was affecting only select servers and worlds. Please find the solution.
