[MC-78217] It Doesn't Let Me Craft Any Fences Even When I Follow The Exact Recipe

I was recording in minecraft version 1.8.3 singleplayer mode and then i wanted to craft some fences, but it won't let me and won't show up. I searched up how to craft fence and did the same recipe as they said but nothing worked.

What I expected to happen was that the item would show up where it supposed to show up when you add in the recipe

What actually happened was that the item didn't show up where you are supposed to get it.

That is not the crafting recipe for fences. It has changed since 1.8, I will add an attachment to show you. Or you can go to:

There, attached! It's just the opposite for fence gates, just replace the sticks with planks, and the planks with sticks. The planks must be of the same species!
