[MC-78990] can not go to an online server when i try to sign into a world it takes me to the bug screen

Incomplete without a crash report from ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]). Please attach it so that we can diagnose your issue.

Besides that, your Minecraft is outdated. Update to version 1.8.3

when i go to micecraft it only says its version 1.8
