minecraft crashing when starting a game.

I log into a server and all of a suddon minecraft crashes back to the launcher with this message:

i expect to start playing on a server. (it also does it in single player)

from start screen press multiplayer then press multiplayer. the game logs into the server after a Minuit the game crashes
