This issue is caused by the Java Virtual Machine crashing, while using your graphics drivers. This can be caused by outdated drivers, or conflicting software, such as custom windows themes, game/screen recording software, or Evolve.
This is a technical support issue; this site is for bug reports only. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.
I was having that same problem so I uninstalled (reluctantly) and tried the Minecraft.exe download instead, but now I'm just getting this any time I try to install Minecraft.
EDIT: Sorry, I thought I could paste a screenshot. I get 2 windows, the Launcher window (that just does its thing then gets stuck when it finishes) and this error message: "Unable to start the Minecraft Runtime Environment. This is most likely caused by a corruption. Please try to reinstall Minecraft." Yeah, too bad that's what I'm trying to do.
