[MC-803] Can't pick up items in inventory

I am in my survival/creative inventory and when I click on an item my cursor doesn't pick it up. Although I can right-click to pick it up and right-click to place it I cannot pick up the whole stack. I also can't shift click items.

and if you hold right click and shift then you can shift click items
