player can not move. can rotate left and right, but cannot move backward or forward, stuck in one position.

Could you be a little more descriptive of how you got that way?

Hi...thanks for the quick response. I'm emailing on behalf of my son. I do not play. He said that he was playing and his mouse was moving too slowly. He tried to fix it by going into controls and changed everything. I think I just figured out what he did wrong. The only problem is I do not know what the default commands were. Thanks!

delete the option.txt in the .minecraft folder, that should reset the controls to default as far as I know.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while ingame and attach the crash report here.

Also, a screenshot of your controls menu would be nice.
