Zombie Pigmen aggro me when a ghast hits them and I kill the ghast

I fought several ghasts near pigmen, when the fire from the ghast attacks damaged a pigman, they acted normally until I killed the ghast, at which point all zombie pigmen in a wide area aggroed and killed me. This happened several times before I realized what was going on but I switched into a creative world and was able to reproduce this consistently. Please fix this soon, I can't enter the nether in survival while this is happening.
