[MC-81657] Downloading server resource packs from servers using a 1.8.7 client causes client crash

Attempted to connect to a 1.8.7 server with a 1.8.7 client. Server provides a resource pack. When accepting resource pack provided by the server, it crashes the client.

Downloading resource pack from a 1.8.7 server with a 1.8.6 client works fine.

Environment

OS: Windows 7 (ver 6.1, arch amd64)
Java: 1.8.0_25 (by Oracle Corporation)
Launcher: Minecraft Launcher 1.6.11 (bootstrap 100)
Minecraft: 1.8.7 (updated Fri Jun 05 07:10:44 ADT 2015)
