TNT defuses when travelling between dimensions

When activating a TNT minecart and sending it through other dimensions i.e. from the Overworld to the Nether via Nether Portal, the cart lands on the ground next to the portal, deactivated and intact.

How to reproduce:
1. Make a minecart track leading into an activated nether portal
2. Make sure an activator rail exists on its way to the portal
3. Make a minecart with TNT and send it over the activator rail and through the portal
4. Go into the portal
