I recently ran into a "bug" on Minecraft 1.8.7 where all blocks, entities, etc will flicker between white and their original textures.
I have epilepsy, and am very thankful that I have quick reactions.
Unfortunately, I could only record at 30FPS but play games at 144FPS (because I have a 144Hz monitor) so for you it will seem slow, but for me it flickers every other frame.
Something like this:
Normal --> White --> Normal --> White --> Normal --> White --> Normal --> White --> etc
Frame1-> Frame2-> Frame3-> Frame4-> Frame5-> Frame6-> Frame7-> Frame8-> etc
It happens every time an item is picked up and flashes insanely fast.
There are no mods installed, just plain vanilla 1.8.7.
Video is too big to be uploaded. Please see this YouTube video instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QML-1K4PtEU

Cannot confirm with a Nvidia GTX 750 Ti (same driver version).
Is this issue specific to a single world or are all worlds affected ?
Is your graphics card overclocked ?
Does this happen in other software too ?
It's only in the Nether.
My graphics card is over clocked (like mad) but this does not happen anywhere else or in any other software.
Not even in other Java games.
