Lost Shulker emitted projectile

If a Shulker projectile (which I will refer to as a "seeker" for now) is after you and you go into spectator it will just wander around lost, looking for a target.

Well it's not gonna go after spectators, what is it supposed to do?

The projectile should probably despawn eventually, if it doesn't already.
