When you try to use the bow in the off hand slot it just bobs up and down, no matter what's in your main hand. I expected to be able to use the bow in the off hand slot but I can't.

[Mojang] Dinnerbone (Nathan Adams) resolved MC-82923 - Bow in Offhand does not work properly as 'Works As Intended'
You can't shoot from the offhand. The animation is wonky for using items unsuccessfully but that's its own bug.
