I planted some Chorus Plants in the Overworld. The Zombie walked to the Plants, then touching them. He did not turn around to avoid the chorus flower, but tried to walk into it.

Confirmed, zombies think they can walk through chorus plants/flowers.

Chorus plants are not a valid pathfinding target anymore.
