I was planting seeds and with a command block in my secondary hand. When I placed it. It placed them basically both at the same time. The command block was on top of the wheat. If it makes any difference, I also set randomtickspeed to 100000.

If you can't use the mainhand, the offhand will be used. You can't plant seeds on seeds so it put the command block there.
