[MC-86331] Day Night Switching

I know this has been fixed for previous versions of the game but this is the first time i've seen it happen in 1.8.8. I have tried /gamerule dodaylightcycle false but that doesn't help. Also I have tried re-downloading minecraft and creating a new fresh world, but still this glitch. What should I do

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
