Crash when going fullscreen

The summary explains everything, I commented on MC-83317, but a mod marked the issue as a duplicate, even when I stated that it wasn't, he NEVER WENT BACK TO IT & LEFT IT ABANDONED & NO OTHER MODS EVER BOTHERED TO CHECK IT BECAUSE IT WAS MARKED AS DUPLICATE. All of the crash reports r at that issue as well as my comments, of which you should read ALL OF.

Did you start crashing i fullscreen after installing Windows 10? If so, yes this is a bug and they need to realize it. Don't even bother going to the official forum, as they just copy and paste bad solutions. I even saw a "support guru" tell someone that their drivers were mixed up mbecause they couldn't correctly identify an ATI card on an Intel northbridge.

Anyway, turn off fullscreen and run in windowed mode. You can maximize the window so it still runs fullscreen. Here is the error it throws, some times right away sometimes after a few minutes

Bob, your issue is not Windows 10 nor fullscreen. Its a crash in Java.

V [jvm.dll+0xadda0]

Report it to Oracle or use Minecraft for Windows (alternative).

Yes, but I believe this is the problem people who say they can't run fullscreen after Windows 10 are having, but it's being dismissed, (especially by the forum support) as a driver issue. I posted that to show it isn't.

Anyway, here is what else I have found.

I tried opening the java control panel and got an error. hmmm... Uninstalled and reinstalled java64, same error. Then I paid attention and it mentioned elevated access. hmmm....so I ran it as administrator et voila. Contol panel opened. Went into program files>Java\jre_18(current version) and checked security properties. Seems there is a new "ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES" option which did not have complete permissions. So I gave it complete permissions and so far so good.

So yes, this does look like a java/windows conflict and once again highlights how relying on a low level language really hurts Minecraft.
