When a every you use the /give command or /summon command it gives you a white blank spawn egg which doesnt work.

This is the command that I used:

/give @p minecraft:spawn_egg 1 120

Environment

2013 IMac with OS X 10.10.2, 8 GB Ram, Java Version 1.6.0_65
