/fill and /clone cause strange client-side visual artefacts

Repeated use of /fill and /clone to build structures sometimes results in a circumstance where the updated blocks do not immediately appear after issuing the command. Disconnecting from the server and reconnecting then results in very strange visual artefacts that flicker rapidly through various configurations from frame to frame. These artefacts seem to be related to some sort of corruption in the client state; repeatedly signing out and back in does not clear the artefacts, but a full restart of the client does, without requiring any action on the server.

The attached screenshots were all taken within a few seconds of one another in roughly the same location in the world, just rotating the point of view.

Installing latest drivers now, will update with results.

Yep, does appear to have fixed it. 🙂

Interesting that for me, it was specifically /clone and /fill that seemed to trigger it. I always knew when it had screwed up because the result of the operation didn't appear on-screen immediately. No other artefact appeared at that point, but then disconnecting and reconnecting produced the crazy visuals, which would continue until a full client restart. Very specific. I wonder how it happened, and how the video driver was the cause...
