[MC-88166] No recharge to hit with diamond sword (at all)

Not sure if its been removed... looked around, no one had said anything?
When I attack mobs, there is no bar to tell me when I can deal full damage, seems to be doing full damage when I spam it as well, no reduced damage. Happens in creative and survival.
Has it been removed? Cause I like the sound of that.

Did you disable the damage indicator? Are you sure you're playing on the latest snapshot?

Yes, after posting this, I figured out the problem. It has been resolved, thank you for your help.
Do you mean recharge bar or a damage indicator? As I did not realise there was an indicator for how much damage you dealt.

I meant the recharge bar, the recharge bar is sort of an indicator of that.
