[MC-88296] When placing shield in shield slot in survival, part of the screen is obstructed and a giant brown square apears (cape like)

When placing shield in shield slot in survival, part of the screen is obstructed by an image of blocks with low resolution and a giant brown square apears next to the shield. Another square apears at you hot bar obstructing 75% of it. FPS drop from 30sh to 4-5
