This also applies to sneaking. It can be rather annoying to get dismounted from a minecart just because I wanted to say something.

Looks like it's fixed for me in 1.10-pre1. I'm using a Mac, so that maybe why. Could anyone confirm this fix?

And yeah, this is still an ongoing (and extremely annoying) issue. I've just tested this in 1.12, the latest version, and it is still there. I've stayed clear of the updates because of this,
