[MC-89666] /worldspawn bugs

I was making a map and i wanted to set world spawn in the house i made for it in the sky, so i did /worldspawn and it said that the coords that i was at is now the world spawn, so i did /kill to see if it worked and it didn't it, every time i killed my self or had a mob kill me it spawned me where every it wanted, but still kinda near the world spawn i set up.

This is not a place for suggestions. You can use /spawnpoint for exact spawnpoints for individual players or post a suggestion here.

but thats for you or a player you already have on /setworldspawn or /worldspawn is for maps or a server so players that haven't been on befor can spawn where you set it

and if been on vanilla servers and they have it so you spawn in one spot all the time, if you come on and have now bed or die

i haven't tried it on my server, its not up right now. i but i have tried it on a single player world and it didn't work so i made a new on and same thing
