I really like the new AI for Skeletons, but I discovered a bug (I think). I tested this multiple times, where I put a Skeleton on a platform in the middle of a pit, and varied the deepness of the pit. (tried 1 block deep with lava in it, 2 blocks deep with lava in it, 3 blocks deep with lava in it, and 5 blocks deep without lava in it). All of the skeletons fell into the pits while shooting at me in survival. Hope I helped if this is not intentional. 🙂

This is not completely fixed for 16w06a:
Skeletons still strafe off of cliffs when a player is below them
Skeletons fall down or accelerate when strafing over corners
Strafing Skeletons cannot be pushed off the cliff even though they are pretty close to the edge of the block
this is linked to MC-104900 if the accelerating skeleton is also a bug.
Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.10.2, or 16w43a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.
