Squids having huge hitboxes

I made a superflat world with the preset 'Water World' to try out the new Ice enchantment.
When I spawned all I could see was huge black boxes! I flew above the water and found that it was probably the hitboxes for all the squids. Squids? Squid?

Steps to Reproduce:
Probably just make a 'Water World' superflat in the latest snapshot.
