Cannot tame horses or drive tamed horses

After boats where updated to include paddles, horses stopped working. A wild horse will act normal when you ride it, and will not buck or be tamed, ever.
A pretamed horse will also wander aimlessly when you ride it, although it will stand still when you put a saddle on it. It will jump normally, but will not respond to any of the wasd directive keys.

Also, minecarts are broken in a similar way.
