i created a redstone elevator with standard redstone and pistons and though it would work, but when it the elevator reached the top it somehow got stuck.
when i looked at my redstone curcuits and noticed the middle row of torches didn't work. when i set the torches up in a way they didn't touch it worked again. also when i deactivated the first line of torches. the second row somehow worked again and the third row malfunctioned. when i reactivated the first line the second row malfunctioned again and the third row worked. if it is unclear what i mean tell me so i can upload a video explaining what happens.

i did it i think. i made a contraption which shows the problem. (i may have messed the link up not sure)
I see your issue now, I suspect it is related to MC-11193 and/or redstone torch burnout.
maybe, but after messing with the bug it looks like the torches effect each other. (don't know if that's what you meant)
example 1: the bug doesn't happen when the columns of torches aren't next to each other.
example 2: when there are 3 columns the middle one malfunctions. when cutting the input of the first column the middle one works again and the third row malfunctions
also i use 1.5 tick pulses so the torches shouldn't burnout.
We are not going to debug your redstone circuits for you. If you can isolate the issue and create a small contraption showcasing it, we can take another look.
