Chunks do not load while riding a minecart
What I expected to happen was...:
the chunks to load while the minecart moves
What actually happened was...:
the minecart would progress down the track and the chunks would not load & the cart would be frozen in place when it reached the last loaded chunk. & exiting the minecart becomes impossible.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a rail that stretches farther than your chunk loading distance
2.enter the minecart & ride it until you reach the unloaded chunks
