I was trying to make a fully automatic snow farm so the water triggers every so often and pushes snow the golems create into a hopper.
The snow was supposed to turn into snowballs.
But what actually happened was that it disappeared and nothing was dropped.
I also tried putting water on snow spawned naturally but nothing happened.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find some naturally spawned snow or snow spawned by snow golems.
2. Pour a bucket of water on the snow.
3. Snowballs aren't dropped.
P.S. I hope this is what you want to happen it will mess up a lot of fully automated snowfarms.

Okay sorry I found a bug and I didn't really know how to report it properly. I tried to follow instructions.
water harvesting snowballs has been in the game so long I don't recall when it first was possible, I'm pretty sure I've been able to do it since at least 1.3.2 as that's how I've always collected snow since, I started my first vanilla home server at that point, however it no longer works on any version of minecraft available to me, including the previous one, this is something that had been in the game so long that it had become a feature even if it was an unintended one, and now does not work as players have come to expect...
No I almost exclusively play Vanilla, and only really play mods through a third party launcher like the ATLauncher which doesn't effect my regular Minecraft, I also make sure they use separate directories, I have had no recent changes to my computer, and I vividly recall being able to collect it this way until the last couple of versions, I usually only make shovels and axes when I have massive clearing projects, and usually take a bucket when I first go adventuring to get things for my base......
