Update you java version. You are running version Java 8 build 25, that is very old. The current version is Java8 build 66

@@unknown, build 25 is the version included with the native launcher, and updating beyond that isn't necessary. Please stop commenting on reports indicating otherwise.

Learn to do something besides post "update your drivers". I've been around since alpha 1.0. When 1.8 came out there were some problems with some people necessitating the update....I'll go find my issue where the mods told me to do that in a bit.....

But it certainly isn't going to hurt.

Actually, there are cases where the more up to date java breaks graphics drivers for some users. I can understand that older versions of java (particularly java 6) have been known to cause issues, and that updating java corrected them, there aren't to my knowledge any known issues where updating java is a direct fix.

That is absolutely correct, especially when upgrading to Windows 10. This user may need to go into their settings and turn off full screen. That helps those who are having problems as well.
The launcher is working fine, or they wouldn't even be able to get to generate the error message, much less get to the point where they can choose which world to play.
Certainly the launcher may be native to an older version of JAVA and work fine, but if the jar is compiled under a newer rev, it can cause problems.
