I was killing all item entities with the following command: /kill @e[type=Item], when a tile entity with the name item.tile.notGate. The first item that comes to mind for this is the redstone torch, but I am pretty (not 100%, but pretty) sure that I had no redstone torches as item entities. Also, I have used the /kill @e[type=Item] command many a time before, and never seen it up until now. Unable to reproduce.

I had to mark it as a 1.8.9 bug, but the version I was in was 1.8. I was using Forge, so I was in 1.8. Here are a list of mods that were installed:

[1.8]bspkrsCore-universal-7.01
[1.8]ArmorStatusHUD-client-1.29
[1.8]StatusEffectHUD-client-1.27
[1.8]DirectionHUD-client-1.24
worldedit-forge-mc1.8-6.1

Thank you for your report.
However, your ticket has been resolved as invalid.

This ticket relates to a modified or 3rd party client, server, or launcher.

  • Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.

  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.

  • This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded Minecraft; Bukkit, Forge, Optifine, modded servers such as The Hive, Overcast, Showbot, Hypixel or any other modded system invalidates your ticket, unless the behavior can be reproduced in Vanilla.

  • Additionally, if you have problems on large-scale modded servers, please report it to their site. It's probably not a bug in Vanilla Minecraft.

:info: If you are able to reproduce your issue in a vanilla environment, feel free to create a new ticket.

Hello, this happens in Vanilla as well. When killing a Redstone Torch, which was dropped on the ground, it does indeed show "Killed item.tile.notGate". However, I don't think this is a bug.
