There is a very irritating issue concerning sign colors and graphics cards. When playing on an Intel HD graphics card, the sign colors are as they should be; very vibrant and easy to read. When playing on a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX, the colors appear faded and are almost unreadable.
There have been bug reports similar to this in the past, however it was written off as the end user's responsibility to pick colors that are readable from the faded ones.
With this issue, users are faced with a tradeoff.
Use their built in Intel graphics
Get lower fps
Read colored signs that most multiplayer severs use
Use a better graphics card such as NVIDIA
Dramatically increase fps and display
Can't read signs
All other color displays (chat, books, etc) work as intended except for signs.

Probably related to MC-1313 as well.
Hey, i got the same issue on all versions even on 1.12, i hope mojang look into this bug and fix it , its an annoying bug. thanks
And im not using a GTX nvidia but a nvidia geforce 920mx, but got same issue, better fps with bad colors on signs.
I'm surprised this issue hasn't received any attention from Mojang yet, I can't imagine it's too hard an issue to fix. Still persists on vanilla btw.
This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modified or 3rd party client, server, or launcher.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the plugin / resource pack creator.
This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded Minecraft; Bukkit, Forge, Optifine, or any other modded system may invalidate your ticket.
Additionally, if you have problems on servers like Hypixel or The Hive, please report it to their corresponding site. It's probably not a bug in Vanilla Minecraft.
