ISSUE PERSISTS WITHOUT 3RD PARTY SOFTWARE
Screenshots were taken on a mojang server(https://minecraft.net/download). Client is unmodified. Signs colored with /blockdata.
My other report of this issue was deemed invalid too quickly so here's another one..
There is a very irritating issue concerning sign colors and graphics cards. When playing on an Intel HD graphics card, the sign colors are as they should be; very vibrant and easy to read. When playing on a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX, the colors appear faded and are almost unreadable.
There have been bug reports similar to this in the past, however it was written off as the end user's responsibility to pick colors that are readable from the faded ones.
With this issue, users are faced with a tradeoff.
Use their built in Intel graphics
Get lower fps
Read colored signs
*Use a better graphics card such as NVIDIA
Dramatically increase fps and display
Can't read signs
All other color displays (books, etc) work as intended except for signs.
Signs colored using /blockdata

FVbico it's not a duplicate of MC 33304 because it's not sometimes. Everytime a graphics card other than Intel is used, the colors are faded. Also, the issue is still unresolved when that ticket was created over 2 years ago.
This issue is occurring directly on vanilla minecraft. You can reproduce it yourself by hosting a vanilla server from https://minecraft.net/download and coloring a sign using mojang's own command /blockdata ~ ~ ~ {Text1:"{text:\"hi\",color:yellow}"}
It's time they fix this bug.
Like I said, post your findings there and perhaps it'll be marked for review by the moderators so mojangs attention once more will go to that ticket
I know the issue, I know this tracker, just trust me, intentionally making duplicate reports doesn't help at all
This is a duplicate of MC-95044... No need to comment here
I also have the same issue! Fix it please!
