[MC-95340] Firing Projectiles With Levitation Messed Up

When using the Levitation effect, trying to fire a projectile such as an Arrow or Snowball causes the projectile to fly vertically instead of the direction the player looks.

I have a repeat command block giving the following command: "/effect @p minecraft:levitation 1 253 true."
