2 things. First , the iron golems I had made for this world have disappeared, and secondly, I put together the 4 iron blocks with a jack o latern above it, and it no longer makes a golem???

They should change the way the spawning works because this is annoying, a tried to make a iron Golem and it did not work, after I broken all the snow around him then it works, why in the crap does this not let you spawn one in.
Non-solids should not count as a spawn blocker.
They close this and say it's not a bug, it's a flaw fix it, I and starting to think Mojang does not care about anything anymore.
True in 16w04a too.
Grass, torch, flower etc can hinder the creation og the golem if pressent in the 3x3 space
