Horse running animation too fast

Why is this still unassigned? It's a major bug, horses are completely useless because they move at almost the same speed as sprinting. That and they look ridiculous with their heads and legs moving so fast.

The first part is not related to tgis bug, horses spawn with different stats. One is slow, one is fast, one can jump high, one can jump not as high.

The "running animation is too fast" is not gameplay affecting, and thus not major in any way.

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.10.2, or 16w43a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.

This has not been fixed. The animation is still too fast. And the functionality of the horses has gone. I tested alot and some at full speed was just walking speed for the player. And most horses could baraly JUMP over one block, much less two. So horses are completely unuseable.
