1.9 Hardcore cant Delete world after death

After death in hardcore mode of 1.9, you have 2 options.
1) Spectate World
2) Delete World

the spectate world working fine, but the delete world is change to the title screen menu and the world is still on the list.
the problem with that, if you clicking on the 'delete world' in the first few seconds after you die, and you reconnect to your world, you still stay alive and start at the point of your death.
