ArmorStand Hand Item Disappears In Front Of Chest

I summoned a Armor Stand in front of a chest with ice in it's hand but when I look through the ice at the chest the ice disappears. Here is the command I used

/summon ArmorStand ~ ~ ~ {ShowArms:1,HandItems:[{id:ice}]}
