Black screen when spectral effect on a mob is in view

I was trying the new 1.9 version of MineCraft when a black screen happen when I shoot a pig with an "Spectral arrow", my screen is black only when the "spectral effect" is effective and in my view. So I do some screenshot to recap how I do.

To do this:
1. Summon or found a pig
2. Have a bow and a spectral arrow
3. Shoot the pig but DON'T kill him
4. See you're screen turning black.
5. When the spectral effect disapear, the screen turn back to normal.

i have the same bug i do not know how to fix this gives me an HUGE disadvantage i hope u can tell me how to fix

I have been experiencing this issue since 1.9.
Once a mob "glows" with the spectral arrow (I have not seen this as am unable to view the effect), and you face the mob while it is "glowing", the screen turns black.
With this effect, while facing away from the mob so the mob isn't in the direction of where your player is facing, the game graphics are displayed as normal.
You can turn to face the mob to make the screen black again and this is the case even if the mob is not in direct view/behind a wall. This is the case if the mob is within render distance.
When this effect wears off, so too does this graphical glitch.
I have tried 2 different graphics cards to the one mentioned above, both of which were brand new and fully updated.
Edited post to include a more detailed report.

I am having this same issue. I have the latest drivers and have reinstalled minecraft from scratch, and still, the issue persists.
