The new spectral and tipped arrows that were added in Minecraft 1.9 disappear from the inventory upon firing them in creative mode, whereas normal arrows stay infinitely on the creative inventory no matter how many times are shot.
To summarise, new arrows disappear in creative mode as if the player was in survival.
