When standing onto of a path block the light level displays as 0 when its clearly not.
Images show, one from me standing on grass next to path block, Light level 15
Then when moving slightly onto the path it shows 0.

When you are standing on stairs/slabs like this, you are inside the 1x1x1 block boundary. Light level inside blocks is 0, so it should display 0.
same with grass path
