[MC-99004] Elytra not working in end city

Elyrtra not working in end. No matter how much i pressed space, it doesn't work

Why was this issue resolved as duplicate? This issue is completely different from MC-89994.
I have also encountered this issue (MC-99004). The Elytra works in the End, but not in the End City.

How did you get to an end city? Did you use an end gateway? In that case you teleported into unloaded chunks.
