Ender Dragon Glitch - Stuck on bedrock

While testing out the new version 1.9, I went to "The End" and saw the enderdragon get stuck when he flew near the bedrock. Look at pictures to see, this happened more than once to me.

Does she stay forever or for only a short while ?

the new 1.9 ender dragon boss fight added a lot of changes, the dragon sitting on the portal and spewing 'dragon breath' is one of them
