Water in the main hub and surrounding areas seems to be flowing backwards & uphill

I just started playing so I am not sure if this is an intentional thing in the story or something. I had a friend confirm it happens on their end too

I can confirm, playing on Windows 11 through the Minecraft Launcher and I see it as well. The foam of the slopped part of the waterfall and the flowing parts going into the waterfall also seem to be going backwards from what I can tell
